Also known as a prayer plant!
They don’t like to sit in dry soil for long, so my guess would be to water when 75% of the soil is dry! Use distilled or rain water to avoid crispy leaves. A moisture meter is recommended. A pot with drainage is recommended. Without drainage, your plant can sit in way more water then it wants and it’s roots can get damaged or rotted. They thrive in humidity and do not like drafts from a/c units. They like bright indirect sunlight. At night, maranta’s leaves will close up, like hands praying (which is where it gets the name prayer plant.) If their leaves are more faded, they might be getting too much sun, if there’s not enough light, your leaves might not open all the way up after closing at night.
Includes: Plant With Pot.
